Frequently asked questions

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

We offer complimentary phone consultations prior to scheduling an appointment or evaluation. Currently, we are not providers for insurances. We accept private payment and will gladly provide you with a superbill (detailed, itemized receipt) for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. HSA & FSA also accepted.

Your insurance company may cover some or all of our services using your out-of-network benefits. Prior to services, we encourage you to contact your insurance company and ask if you are eligible for reimbursement for out-of-network speech services. If services are covered, we can provide you with a superbill (detailed, itemized receipt) if requested.  A superbill would include the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company to get reimbursed for services.

Benefits of paying out of pocket:

  • There is no need for a doctor's referral or prior authorization from your insurance company to start services.

  • The adult client or parent/legal guardian gets to decide which clinician is best to meet the client's needs rather than having an insurance company decide.

  • Not having to deal with insurance companies means less claims and paperwork for the clinician, giving more time to focus on the client.

  • More services are allowed without restrictions (e.g. Teletherapy).

  • There is no limit on the amount of sessions allowed.  The adult client or parent/legal guardian can collaborate with the clinician to meet the client's needs.

  • You can stay with your preferred clinician even if your insurance plan coverage changes.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER OPTIONS FOR PAYMENT?

To better serve children with speech and language disorders, there are programs accepting applications on behalf of children between 3 and 22 years of age at the time of the application deadline and families with a combined household income under $100,000. Contact us to send you the application!

We are now a DDD and Medicaid approved provider.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE?

Our in-office location is in Middlesex County, NJ however we serve all of New Jersey and Connecticut through Telehealth services.

WHY WOULD I CHOOSE TELEHEALTH?

Clients feel most comfortable in their home and are often more receptive to the strategies and skills we are targeting. We believe it is best to serve clients in the environment where they will be using their skills. Teletherapy not only makes therapy more accessible, but it also provides opportunities for family and caregivers to participate and get their questions answered in real time.
